Our consultation on alternatives to ‘Shipley choked with traffic’ has given a great boost to solutions that make healthy ways of travel easier.
Held all day on 5th March 2022 at Shipley’s Kirkgate Community Centre, more than two hundred people came to cast their votes and make their comments on the Bradford-Shipley Travel Alliance (BSTA) proposals.

I live in Keighley, and am a ratepayer to Bradford Met. I had no idea about these consultations. Surely everyone could have been notified along with the rates bill?
We are a team of volunteers with limited resources and so only have capacity to work in Shipley, Frizinghall and Manningham. Certainly you won’t want more traffic, particularly large trucks, through Keighley should a dual carriageway be eventually permitted.
